ktw2jaivdh...okay - just signed up for technorati. I must be on overload because I'm not getting all of this. Between tagging in thing 13 and technorati in thing 14, no comprendo! Maybe I need a break? I'll try it again tomorrow. Goodnight!

basically, they are both ways to find information. Remember this is an exploration of Things...some will turn out to be priceless to you, others not so much. You will filter out the ones that don't necessarily help you after this is all over.
Tagging is like keywords/subject headings of the traditional card catalog idea...you tag different pieces of info so that all come up the next time you need to reference them in whatever source you are using.
So do I tag my own posts as well? I see tags listed on other blogs that I read...am I the one doing that for my own blog? Thanks for helping me in my confusion!
yes you can tag (and really probably should) your own posts. As you do it, it will automatically create a list of key words/subjects/tags that you can use to go back and find related posts.
For instance, if you use image generators as a tag for any of your posts in which you wirte about them, then you can find all of them later!
A good way to see how these work is exactly what you did...lok at other people's blogs to see their tags/tag structure. And use it how it best works for you!
